world of warcraft classic, wow classic system requirements, wow classic requirements,

World of Warcraft Classic has arrived, deforming the most iconic MMO fans of all time since 2006. Reintroduces players in Azeroth as they remembered, imitating the look and game systems of an era when WoW was quite different from what it is today. Whether you are a lifelong subscriber, someone who wants to return to the game or a player who is thinking of trying WoW for the first time, we have compiled everything there is to know about World of Warcraft Classic (wow classic system requirements) here.

What is World of Warcraft: Classic?

World of WarCraft rewinds time until 2006. This means that it takes place even before the first expansion, The Burning Crusade. WoW was originally launched in 2004, so we have not yet returned to the beginning. WoW Classic uses the Drums of War patch (1.12) as a starting point. From looting to construction, appearance, and mechanics, WoW Classic is certifiably 2006.

Combat is slower, more methodical and, in general, more dangerous. The movement on the map takes much longer than in modern WoW. In addition, the missions are simpler, with less chance of chance events occurring in the middle of the race. You may also have to wander around a bit to find out where you are going and prepare for more setbacks. Its main statistics will look quite similar to those of modern WoW, but the secondary statistics are really different since Blizzard has reviewed that aspect of the constructions over the years.

Overall, Vanilla WoW requires more effort to progress. Although the level limit is only 60 (instead of 120), you will spend much more time touring the map to find dungeons, connect with other players and search for loot. Even your construction choices are more consistent since you cannot instantly change your specifications. Everything is earned through hard work. But yes, you will have to spend much more time working to achieve your goals. However, that can be rewarding.

Still, Blizzard has implemented some technical changes to improve your experience. You can configure macros and install add-ons, right-click to inform players and see things clearly if you’re colorblind thanks to colorblind settings.

The official system of WoW Classic requirements was announced earlier! Good news for potato users: the minimum specifications are even lower than those of BFA! You only need an Intel HD Graphics 4000 or a GeForce 8800 GT or a Radeon HD 4850 to pass the minimum GPU test!

Optimal Hardware Suggestions

According to today’s standard, World of Warcraft is anything but a demanding game and, although it has benefited from a minor facelift, it works in the same way as in the mid-2000s. The minimum specifications mean that it should work comfortably on any laptop with integrated graphics anywhere between 30 and 60 FPS. The 5 GB space requirement dates back to a simpler time in games when games did not add up to several dozen GB.

As for the recommended specifications, they require better components, but they remain completely reasonable and a threshold that the vast majority of PC owners must meet with ample room to spare. Expect 60 FPS or more in the ultra-introduced Classic configurations that were absent from the original: detailed environments and shadows, and a better-represented fauna and flora.

Can I Run World of Warcraft Classic?

To determine if your gaming PC can handle the demands of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft Classic, you must first know its specifications. From there, you can verify them with the minimum and recommended specifications listed below. If your components match or are better, then you should be ready.

If you need help setting your PC specifications, we have an easy to follow guide available here. In the future, we are working hard on a new tool to automatically analyze the machines and determine their exact specifications to make the process much easier. More news about that in the coming weeks and months.

WoW Classic server queues

The launch of WoW Classic has been plagued with problems with the server. Simply put, more players are trying to connect to play than the developers that Blizzard can currently handle.

WoW Classic server queues have become so bad in some cases that waiting times of up to three hours (and, in extreme cases, much, much longer) have been common. This should be resolved once the initial rush to play calms down, but Blizzard has already moved quickly to open more servers to relieve tension.

A large number of people who play (estimated at more than 2 million) has to lead to some fun and moving community events that also take place in the game. WoW Classic has many missions that require you to take out specific monsters for key mission items. As these monsters only reproduce sporadically, the inhabitants of overpopulated regions of the game have literally organized queues in the game to give each player a fair chance to finish the missions. Now that’s the best of the games.

Update schedule

Yes, World of Warcraft Classic seeks to return players to the early life of the MMO. But that does not mean that it will not evolve over time. Blizzard has already described six phases of content for World of Warcraft Classic. Essentially, Blizzard wants the game to grow in the same way it did in 2006, to small updates such as changes in team statistics, which will arrive as they originally did. Note that in the PvP release it is not trackable and you will not receive formal rewards for the PvP content.

World of Warcraft Classic will receive updates to implement new features over time, although it is still unclear if you will get full expansion add-ons. Blizzard will be attentive to the community to see how far the resurrection of the Vanilla game will go. But the consensus seems to be that fans will be happy to see the game reach its third, very popular expansion pack, Wrath of the Lich King.

While Blizzard makes that decision, he is committed to launching waves of content releases over time. As things stand, World of Warcraft Classic players can expect:

  • Phase 1 (also known as Vanilla release): Molten Core, Onyxia, Maraudon
  • Phase 2: Dire Maul, Azuregos, Kazzak
  • Phase 3: Blackwing Lair, Darkmoon Faire, Darkmoon Deck
  • Phase 4: Zul’Gurub, Green Dragons
  • Phase 5: Ahn’Qiraj’s war effort begins, Ahn’Qiraj’s raids begin according to the progression of the war effort, reconfiguration of the dungeon loot (0.5 level quality dungeon equipment, relics, location adjustments, and drop rate)
  • Phase 6: Naxxramas, invasion of the Plague

In addition, there will be a phased deployment of PvP content (player vs. player) within those phases:

  • Phase 1 (also known as Vanilla launch): PvP will be available, but will not have any reward or statistics tracking for the tack part.
  • Phase 2: The honor system will be introduced (including dishonorable deaths), PvP rank rewards will be deployed
  • Phase 3: Alterac Valley (version 1.12), Warsong Gulch battlefield introduced
  • Phase 4: Arathi Basin
  • Phase 6: Global PvP Objectives in Silithus and the Eastern Plaguelands

Whether new expansions arrive or not, there seems to be a lot of content to prevent this from being more than just digital tourism.
